Postdoc – Causal inference for pregnancy and cardiovascular research
Description:
We are seeking a full-time postdoctoral fellow with expertise in epidemiology or data science. The ideal candidate will be interested in applying novel causal inference methods to identify effective pharmacologic and lifestyle strategies that inform clinical and public health decision-making for pregnancy and cardiovascular health.
Requirements:
- A doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Public Health Sciences, or a related field is required for this position.
- Candidates must possess substantial experience in scientific programming, such as SAS, R, or Python.
- Candidate should be able to dedicate at least 2 years of full-time professional effort to conducting research.
- Strong interest and experience in causal inference methods, working with insurance claims data, electronic health records, or conducting longitudinal analyses are highly desirable for this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will be involved in reviewing literature, designing and implementing methods, analyzing data, summarizing study results, and drafting manuscripts. You will work closely with our team to publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at scientific conferences.
Start date:
This position is available immediately and can be renewed annually.
